Pilea Sugar is a new, rare variety of Pilea peperomioides or more commonly known as Chinese money plant. The leaves are covered with splashes or speckles of soft white and have ribbed edges.

Size: 13cm diameter x 20cm height


Light: Filtered sun, indirect light

Humidity: Moderate

Temperature: 15-25ºC

Watering: Allow the top 3-4 cm of the compost to dry between waterings when the plant is actively growing, usually from spring through autumn. Reduce watering frequency in winter when light levels are lower.

Feeding: Use half the recommended dose of a balanced liquid fertilizer every 6-8 weeks from spring through autumn.

Soil: Soil-based compost and perlite.

Tip: This plant is safe around pets. Keep it warm and away from direct sunlight and drafts.
