Alocasia cuprea 'Red secret'
The leaves of Alocasia cuprea are out of this world. Dark and mysterious with metallic and reflective tones, they almost look like something belonging to the jurassic!

Light: Indirect light
Temperature: 15-29ºC. Night temperatures no lower than 12ºC
Watering: Allow the top 2 cm of the compost to dry between waterings while the plant is actively growing, usually from spring through autumn. Reduce watering frequency in late autumn and winter when light levels are low.
Feeding: Use half the recommended dose of a balanced liquid fertilizer a few times during the growing season.
Soil: These alocasias need Well-draining soil, so soil mixes that have orchid bark, perlite or coco coir would suit it best.
Tip: This plant can be toxic if ingested, so we advise to keep it away from pets and children. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, so it is best to keep it away from direct sun.
