Commonly known as the Swiss cheese plant, the popular Monstera Deliciosa gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Its iconic heart-shaped, perforated leaves instantly make an impact and add a lush, tropical feel to any room. This large monstera comes attached to a moss pole.

Care
Light: Indirect light
Humidity: Moderate
Temperature: 17-27ºC
Watering: Allow the top 2-3 cm of the compost to dry between waterings when the plant is actively growing, usually from spring through autumn. Reduce watering frequency in winter if light levels are lower.
Feeding: Use half the recommended strength of balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks from spring through autumn, or whenever you can see active growth.
Soil: 3 to 1 parts of soil-based compost and sand, perlite and orchid bark.
Troubleshooting: Yellow or browning leaves may indicate the plant is being overwatered or the soil is too compacted or the wrong mix.
Tip: Wipe the leaves regularly with a dry cloth or brush to remove dust. As the plant gets bigger, you can tie its stems to a larger pole or trellis. This plant can be toxic if ingested, so we advise to keep it away from pets and children. Direct sunlight can leave sunburn marks on the leaves. Keep it away from drafts and radiators.
Did you know? The popular holes of Monstera leaves (fenestrations) only appear in mature leaves. Shaded foliage will not produce holes.
