Scindapsus pictus 'Trebie'
Description
The silvery dots and splashes on the soft green leaves of this Satin Pothos make for a very pretty, low maintenance hanging plant. The varietie 'Trebie' features huge leaves, almost the size of a hand!
Size: 12cm pot
Care
Light: Bright indirect light
Humidity: Moderate
Temperature: 16-26ºC
Watering: Allow the top 2-3 cm of the compost to dry between waterings when the plant is actively growing, usually from spring through autumn. Reduce watering frequency in winter when light levels are lower.
Feeding: Use half the recommended dose of a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks from spring through early autumn.
Soil: Multipurpose/houseplant potting mix with added perlite.
Troubleshooting: Crispy leaf tips may be a sign of low humidity in the air. Yellowing leaves may be a sign of overwatering. Curling leaves may be a sign of underwatering or inadequate temperature.
Tip: This plant can be toxic if ingested, so we advise to keep it away from pets and children. Direct sunlight can leave sunburn marks on the leaves. Keep it away from drafts.
Did you know? The Latin word for the species 'pictus' means 'painted', referring to its matte, variegated leaves.
