Care
Light: Very bright indirect light or filtered sun
Humidity: Low-Moderate
Temperature: 12-24ºC
Watering: Allow the top 2-3 cm of the soil to dry between waterings while the plant is actively growing, usually from spring through autumn. Reduce watering frequency in winter when light levels are lower.
Feeding: Use half the recommended dose of a balanced liquid fertilizer every 6-8 weeks from spring through summer.
Soil: Tradescantias need well draining soil. You can use Multipurpose/houseplant potting mix mixed with perlite and horticultural sand.
Troubleshooting: Tradescantias like to stay on the dry side. Be careful not to overwater this plant!
Tip: This plant can be toxic if ingested, so we advise to keep it away from pets and children. This tradescantia will display its best colour when exposed to very bright conditions.
